How to find your part
The catalog lists parts from many dismantling yards, and each yard names its parts in its own way. One search does not always find everything. Work down these five steps until you find your part.
-
Search by part number
This is the most exact search. The number is printed on the part or on its label. Type it without dashes or spaces. If nothing comes up, try it with the dashes.
92101C1000, then 92101-C1000
-
Choose your vehicle, then type the part name
Choose the make, model and year. Then type the name of the part in English or in your own language. We translate it into Korean for the search.
Hyundai, Sonata, 2016 + headlamp
-
Try another name
No results? Use a shorter name, or a different word for the same part.
tail light, rear lamp, combination lamp
-
Search by VIN
Type the first 11 characters of your VIN into the search box. You will see parts taken from cars of the same model, version and model year as yours.
KMHE341DBGA
-
Browse all parts for your vehicle
Choose the make, model and year, leave the search box empty and press Find parts. The part may be listed under a name you did not expect.
Hyundai, Sonata, 2016, search box left empty
Searching by VIN
The VIN is the 17-character number of your car. You will find it in the registration document, on the label inside the driver's door frame, or at the bottom of the windshield.
- Too few results? Type only the first 8 characters. You will then see parts from other model years too.
- The donor cars were built for the Korean market. If your car was built for another market, its VIN may begin differently and this search may find nothing. Go to step 5, or send us your VIN.
- A match by VIN does not prove that a part fits. Compare the part number and the photos, or ask us.
Why a search can miss a part
The catalog brings together listings from many dismantling yards. A yard may have typed the part number with a mistake, used a different name for the part, or left a field empty. Then a search by number or name does not find it.
That is why step 5 helps: choose the make, model and year, and look through every part for your vehicle. It may be listed under a name you did not expect.
Will it fit my car?
The same make, model and year are not enough. Trim level, market, connectors and the side of the car can differ. Before you order:
- Compare the part number with the number on your old part.
- Look closely at every photo: shape, connectors and mounting points.
- Remember that all donor cars are left-hand drive. In our listings “driver side” is the left side of the car and “passenger side” is the right side.
- If you are not sure, send us the link to the part and your VIN. We will try to check.
